Did You Know?

Larry Burrows was just 45 years old when he and 3 fellow photojournalists died when their helicopter was shot down in Laos.

Description

Larry Burrows is best known for his coverage of the conflict in Vietnam for Life Magazine from 1962 to 1971. This is one of the prints that was used by Life’s photo editors to decide how to tell the story of the Vietnam War to American readers—coverage that over the course of the war had a profound impact on the public perception and national discourse regarding the conflict.
