A patinated bronze and marble candelabrum features a slender stem rising from four reclining lions. On a U-shaped branch decorated with two small lions, a draped Vulcan on our left and a nude Venus on our right stand upright. Both wear tall, patterned headpieces supporting circular candle holders. The dark, smooth metal of the figures and stem contrasts with the light, speckled marble base at the very bottom.
