After an eight-year hiatus, the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Pre-Columbian, Native North American, Japanese, Korean and textile collections will return to public view on Sunday, June 30. The works will be showcased in the museum’s new north wing galleries, located on the second floor adjacent to the new, soaring glass atrium. Designed by architect Rafael Viñoly, the north wing is flanked on either side by the new east wing, which includes the contemporary, modern and impressionist collections, and the west wing, opening in December 2013.
Cleveland Museum of Art presents an ongoing series of solo concerts featuring composed and improvised music by some of the most remarkable artists of our time at Transformer Station (1460 West 29 Street Cleveland, OH 44113).
1967 was the year of the “Summer of Love.” It was also a pivotal year in the history of movies. This July and August we present seven groundbreaking works that mark their 50th anniversary in 2017. All will be shown from 35mm film in Morley Lecture Hall.
