Become one of the lead sponsors for a special presentation of Japanese floral art coming to the Cleveland Museum of Art on September 30, 2022. We are sponsoring an Ikebana Demonstration to which we will invite the entire community and beyond in celebration of four decades of Ohara School Ikebana in Cleveland, co-organized by the Womens Council with the CMA.
This event which will be accessible to all the public, including those without prior floral design and Ikebana knowledge, features the appearance of the Ohara School Headmaster Hiroki Ohara who will conduct, assisted by Professor Akihiro Nishi, the demonstration of various floral arrangements and styles—performance art where the medium is flowers and plants.
