A horizontal book cover of deep magenta silk damask features a subtle sheen and an intricate, repeating pattern of stylized clouds, lotus blossoms, and interlocking knots woven throughout. A small green loop extends from the center of the left edge. The corners are slightly worn, revealing a light-colored board underneath. The complex pattern catches the light, creating a textured, tonal appearance across the entire surface of the crimson textile.
