A horizontally oriented lithograph on tan paper depicts the outlines of a woman and child with light skin tones. In the center, a woman wearing a cap and loose clothing sits facing our right while holding a child on her lap. The child faces our left. Soft, sketchy lines and light shading define the figures against a simple background. Small yellowish spots are scattered across the surface of the print.
