Description

This print was published in Le Charivari (June 13, 1847) as plate 7 from the series As You Like It.
A vertically oriented lithograph with full-body figures depicts two people walking forward on a cobblestone street. The one on our left wears a white top hat and layered cloak. Beside them, the person on our right wears a dark top hat and long coat, carrying a walking stick. Bare trees line the street on our left, while buildings line our right. French text appears at the top and bottom.
