Description

This print was published in Le Charivari (December 5, 1841) as plate 4 from the series The Bohemians of Paris.
A vertically oriented black-inked print depicts three figures with light skin tones on a cobblestone street. On our right, an older man in a tall top hat and dark coat hunches forward, clutching a light-colored bundle. He looks toward two figures on the left standing with their backs to us, also wearing top hats. Trees and building silhouettes frame the scene. The initials "h.D." are inscribed in the lower left corner.
