A horizontally oriented, predominantly dark-toned etching and aquatint depicts a creature with massive feathered wings and a shaggy, pale lower body. Two figures ride on its back toward our right: one in a dark coat and one in a light-colored dress. The figures are rendered with sketchy strokes against a grainy background. High-contrast ink blotches highlight the creature's white hindquarters and the riders' pale skin against the dark void.
