Description

The poem on the print can be translated as "in the spring shower shall I know his umbrella."
A vertically oriented woodblock print depicts a woman with a light skin tone standing and looking over her shoulder. She holds a large pink and black striped umbrella. She wears a dark green robe patterned with circular motifs over a pink kimono and tall wooden sandals. Vertical columns of Japanese calligraphy and several small black and red seals are distributed around the figure on the beige paper.
