A horizontally oriented tempera and gold painting depicts a battle. On our left, Krishna, a four-armed, dark-skinned figure in yellow, rides a giant green parrot flying toward our right while firing arrows at three light-skinned, crowned men. One sits in a gold chariot pulled by a pink, spotted, multi-headed beast, while others hurl a spear and draw bows. Severed fish and animal heads float among countless arrows against a gray, swirling background.
