A horizontally oriented gum tempera and ink painting depicts a battle against rolling yellow hills filling the lower portion, with a pale blue sky above. On the left, a dark-skinned Krishna on a green bird unleashes a flurry of arrows. To the right, King Bana sits in a chariot surrounded by severed arms floating in the air. In the lower left, a light-skinned figure aims a bow, completing the crowded composition.
