A vertically oriented drawing in black crayon on off-white paper closely crops the head of a young child tilted toward our left. Grainy, staccato strokes define the features, with thick clusters of crayon shading the hair and soft, speckled hatching rounding the cheeks. Small, distinct marks suggest closed eyes and a downturned mouth. Below the head, loose lines fade away, accented by a faint horizontal stroke on our right.
