A dark bronze sculpture depicts a bearded man standing behind a vertical relief panel. He wears a heavy, draped robe. He grasps the panel's top with his right hand and its side with his left. Deep-set eyes look forward beneath a furrowed brow. The panel features small, undulating figures. At his feet rest a mallet and chisel. The sculpture has a dark, uneven surface with visible tool marks and deep furrows.
