Description

This print was first published in Le Charivari (May 18, 1837) as plate 48 from the series Caricaturana.
A vertically oriented lithograph with watercolor depicts three light-skinned men in top hats. On our left, a slender figure in a tan coat leans sharply toward the center. The central man, wearing a blue vest and maroon coat, stands over green trousers while holding a cane. To our right, a stout man in a green coat and yellow vest leans away. Cursive French text lines the bottom against a pale background.
