Description

This print was published both in the journal Le Boulevard (May 11, 1862) and in the album Souvenirs d’Artistes (plate 418).
A horizontally oriented lithograph in black ink depicts three light-skinned figures in a flat landscape. On our left, a portly man in a bowler hat points toward a distant house. In the center, a thin man in a top hat peers through an eyeglass. To our right, a woman in a ruffled gown and bonnet holds a parasol. French text frames the top and bottom, with initials "h.D." signed lower left.
