A vertically oriented oil painting depicts a seated woman with light skin tone facing us, head tilted forward and eyes downcast. She wears a white camisole and a vibrant red skirt, her hands resting in her lap. A gold bracelet circles the wrist to our right. Her dark hair is pulled back, and thick brushstrokes define her form, illuminated against a high-backed green chair and a shadowy background.
