Description

This print (with title and captions added) was published in Le Charivari (September 14, 1847) as plate 15 from the series At the Ladies Bath.
A horizontally oriented lithograph in black ink depicts three women in an interior. On the left, one woman in a dark dress and white cap faces right with an outstretched arm. Beside her, a second woman in a plaid dress faces away from us. In the background, a third woman also faces away. Sketchy lines suggest a wall behind them, while dense hatching creates a dark shadow on the right.
