A hanging scroll features two panels in muted grays and browns. In the upper panel, a small, tiled-roof house sits among dark pine trees. Soft ink washes create hazy water leading to undulating, rocky mountains rising through white mist. Columns of black Chinese calligraphy fill the top of the scene and the entire lower panel (see "Inscriptions"). Red square stamps are visible along the margins of both sections.
