An ink and light color painting on paper depicts a landscape of mountains and foliage. In the foreground, a figure with a staff crosses a bridge. Thick clusters of dark brushstrokes convey dense trees and thatched-roof huts across the middle ground. Broad gray washes form rounded mountains in the background. Vertical columns of Chinese calligraphy and a red seal appear in the upper right corner (see "Inscriptions").
