A horizontally oriented gum tempera and ink painting on two palm leaf strips features a central rectangular scene on the top leaf. Against a red background, a light-skinned Sudhana stands with hands pressed together near a white buffalo and tree. Dense black Indic script surrounds the imagery and covers the bottom strip. Two small, circular holes are positioned near the ends of each leaf. The leaf edges show slight natural wear.
