Two horizontal palm leaf strips feature columns of Sanskrit script and a central painting in gum tempera and ink. On the top strip, dense black text flanks a scene depicting a figure with light skin between two trees and antelopes against a red background. The bottom strip contains three more columns of script. Both strips are pierced by two circular binding holes.
