A horizontally oriented painting on paper depicts Maitreya, a four-armed figure with red skin, seated cross-legged in the center. He rests two hands on his knees while his upper hands hold leafy stalks. Maitreya wears patterned clothing and a dark headpiece, encircled by a dark blue halo with a yellow and white border against a red background. This fragment shows significant surface cracking and worn edges throughout the composition.
