A vertically oriented print in black ink depicts two girls. On the left, a girl with long, dark, wavy hair faces away, reaching up to adjust the large, flower-trimmed hat of a second girl. To her right, the girl with light skin tone faces left, eyes turned toward the first. Dense hatching and fine lines create texture throughout the scene. The signature Renoir appears at the bottom left.
