A vertically oriented softground etching in reddish-brown ink, a grainy medium defining her form, depicts a nude woman with light skin tone seated and facing our left. Long hair cascades down her back while she turns her head slightly toward us with downcast eyes. Her arms extend forward. Hatching creates deep shadows behind her and a signature appears in the upper left corner within the rectangular plate mark.
