Did You Know?

Mei Qing produced a surge of new paintings after his 1690 tour of Huangshan’s breathtaking peaks.
A rectangular album cover is clad in a woven textile featuring a dense grid of tan and blue circular medallions, each depicting a coiled dragon. Smaller square motifs fill the spaces between circles. Centered vertically, a cream paper label is inscribed with bold black calligraphy, a signature, and a red square seal at the bottom. A small white rectangular tag is attached near the lower center edge.
