A vertically oriented page features ten rows of flowing Persian calligraphy in black ink on aged, light-brown paper. A bold line of text sits inside a rectangular frame at the top, enclosed by thin gold and red borders. Small red ink marks are scattered among the lower script. Staining and a vertical tear on the right highlight the paper's age.
