A vertical ink painting depicts three tiers of black script on tan paper. The top and bottom tiers feature horizontal lines, while the central register is split into two vertical columns. A lone blue stroke cuts across the upper section. Golden flecks are scattered among the text. A narrow, multicolored border frames the composition, which is marked by age-related staining and fine, angled marginalia in the corners.
