A vertically oriented manuscript page features thirteen horizontal rows of flowing black calligraphy on tan paper with mottled spots. Occasional characters are rendered in red ink. A narrow gold and red border frames the text. The elegant, cursive script is densely packed, with characters trailing across the page in a consistent rhythm. The aged paper provides a textured background for the intricate ink work, framed within a simple linear border.
