A vertically oriented page of aged cream-colored paper features rows of black-inked Persian script. Elongated horizontal strokes characterize the text, which is framed by thin blue, orange, and gold lines. Below ten lines of calligraphy, a centered blue-inked heading introduces two columns of shorter verses. Small gold dots are scattered throughout the writing. Dark staining marks the top edge, while faint script shows through from the reverse side.
