A vertically oriented cream page features many rows of flowing Persian calligraphy in black and gold ink. Within a thin red border, the script is arranged in horizontal lines and split columns, accented by small red diacritics. Seven black lines sit above central poetry couplets, followed by three lines of gold text and four final black lines. Faint ink bleeding from the reverse marks the manuscript's surface.
