A vertical, cream-colored page features horizontal bands of Persian Nasta'liq script in black and gold ink. At the top, a single line of large calligraphy occupies a narrow register. Below, two columns of verses precede a central prose block highlighted with gold-inked words. A second large line of script sits above final columns of poetry. Thin red and blue lines frame the text, bordered by wide, unadorned margins of the paper.
