A gum tempera and ink painting on vertical paper features thirteen rows of black calligraphy. The script consists of fluid, rounded characters and occasional long horizontal strokes. The tan paper is marked by mottled dark brown stains across the lower half and toward our right. A thin, decorative border of gold, red, and blue lines frames the centered text area, maintaining narrow margins on all sides.
