A vertically oriented page of aged, tan paper features horizontal rows of black-inked Persian script. The curving characters exhibit varied line weights and sweeping flourishes. In the center, the text splits into two short columns. A thin red and gold border encloses the page, which is marked by dark spots and a rectangular repair patch on the left. The calligraphy flows rhythmically across the textured, weathered surface.
