A vertically oriented gum tempera and ink painting on aged tan paper features eleven lines of flowing black handwritten script. A lone line sits isolated in the upper right. Below, ten horizontal lines are boxed within thin red and orange borders. The script varies in length, accented by gold highlights. Small, dark brown spots mottle the paper's surface. The text forms a structured column, creating a rhythmic movement against the weathered, speckled background.
