A vertically oriented gum tempera and ink painting on paper depicts a manuscript page with fourteen rows of black calligraphic script. Framed by a narrow red and blue border, the script flows with sweeping strokes and small gold accents. While most lines span the full width, two central rows are divided into columns. Light brown discoloration marks the top edge. The elegant calligraphy creates a rhythmic pattern within the rectangular boundary.
