A vertically oriented manuscript page on aged, cream paper is inked with fluid calligraphy. Three lines of looping gold script occupy the top, followed by ten lines of dense black characters interspersed with small dots and dashes. Dark brown stains mar the upper left corner. A thin frame of gold, blue, and red lines surrounds the page, while the elegant characters stand out sharply against the stained surface of the paper.
