A vertically oriented page features thirteen horizontal rows of sweeping black calligraphy on stained, light tan paper. A thin border of gold and red lines frames the central text. The ink characters are fluid, with many strokes elongated into elegant curves across the background. Above several lines, smaller black markings are scattered, while the paper shows irregular patches of darker discoloration near the upper edge.
