A vertically oriented cream page features thirteen horizontal rows of flowing Persian script in black ink. The undulating, loopy characters are framed by a narrow border of red and gold lines. A thin gold band separates the final two rows from the main body of text. Areas of dark staining and discoloration mark the upper and lower edges of the paper.
