A vertically oriented page of aged, textured paper is filled with eleven horizontal rows of black and orange-gold calligraphic strokes. These fluid characters dominate the center, their rhythmic loops splaying over a faint, misted scene of pale blue and gray. A purple splotch marks the upper left. A thin, decorative border of red, gold, and black lines frames the composition, containing the sweeping ink within a rigid, structured edge.
