A vertically oriented page of tan paper features thirteen lines of flowing black-inked Persian script. The cursive characters, accented by small red marks, are framed by a narrow border of red, blue, and gold lines. In the center, two lines split into two shorter columns. The mottled paper shows signs of age with scattered flecks, small stains, and tiny holes along the right edge.
