A vertically oriented page displays thirteen lines of fluid, black-inked Persian calligraphy on cream, textured paper. The script features undulating strokes and dramatic, elongated horizontal flourishes that stretch across the rectangular composition. Light brown stains and delicate creases mark the surface, which is encased in a narrow frame of thin red, gold, and black lines. The calligraphic characters vary in weight, creating a rhythmic, dark pattern against the aged background.
