A vertically oriented tan page is inked with eleven horizontal lines of flowing black Persian calligraphy. The script features varying stroke thicknesses and elongated horizontal tails, with several characters extending into the left margin. A large, irregular brown stain marks the top edge. The paper is framed by thin gold and orange borders, all contained within a decorative rectangular rim. The calligraphy appears rhythmic and elegant against the aged paper.
