A vertically oriented, aged tan page features thirteen horizontal rows of undulating Persian calligraphy in black ink. The rounded characters are punctuated by small red markings. The paper shows brown stains and a creased surface. A double-lined border in gold and red frames the text. Near the lower right corner, a few characters sit outside the main rows. The fluid script fills the page with sweeping, rhythmic strokes.
