A vertically oriented ink work on tan paper features thirteen lines of horizontal calligraphic script. Flowing black characters dominate the layout, while two lines near the top and one word toward the lower right are rendered in gold. A decorative border of blue, red, and gold lines frames the centered text. Water stains and spots of dark discoloration mar the top and center-bottom of the aged paper.
