A vertically oriented cream-colored page features twelve horizontal lines of flowing Persian calligraphy in black ink. The script displays elongated horizontal flourishes and precise dots. A thin border of gold, red, and black lines frames the text. Shadows of an illustration from the reverse side show through the paper's center. Subtle brown stains and signs of age mark the upper and lower edges of the weathered page.
