A vertical aged cream paper features thirteen horizontal rows of flowing Persian script in black and faded gold ink. A rectangular border of thin gold, red, and blue lines frames the text. Brown staining marks the edges, and a diagonal tear sits in the bottom-left corner. The cursive characters show variations in ink density, with small notations tucked between lines and ghostly text showing through from the reverse side.
