A vertically oriented manuscript page features thirteen horizontal rows of black ink calligraphy. The fluid Persian script is set against mottled tan paper and is occasionally punctuated by red markings and small marginal notes. A thin border of gold, red, and blue lines frames the central text. The aged paper shows varied brown tones and a faint horizontal crease across its center.
