One side of a vertically oriented cream page features twelve lines of flowing Persian script in black ink. The calligraphy displays varying thicknesses and rhythmic curves punctuated by numerous dots. A narrow gold and red border frames the composition. Two horizontal lines partition the text; the central section presents two pairs of shorter phrases positioned above three more lines. The ink shows slight tonal shifts, and faint script shows through from the reverse side.
