A vertically oriented, tan-colored paper features thirteen horizontal rows of flowing black Persian calligraphy. The handwritten characters vary in weight, punctuated by long, sweeping horizontal strokes. Small gaps separate each line of script. A thin, multicolored border of gold, red, and blue frames the page, which shows faint brown staining in the upper left corner.
